Bats n' Clouds

This is a cover I pencilled and inked, which Rachelle Rosenberg then colored. It will be featured at the end of part 2 of the Devil's Due "Hack/Slash vs. Halloween Man" crossover.

"Stingers"

Another Zenescope sample page. This is page 6 on a book called "Stingers," and, as with the last post, the script is located below...

PAGE 6
1 - INSERT PANEL, Gracey races down the boardwalk.
HAWK
What I'd like to do is put a bullet
in the back of his head.
2 - FULL SHOT of his pursuer, BRIAN 'HAWK' HAWKINS. He's
black, late 30s with a clean shaven head. He’s an imposing
and powerful looking man.
HAWK (NARRATION) (CONT'D)
But that's not what I get paid for.
3 - INSERT SHOT of Gracey, his eyes wide with fear as the
Hawk chases behind him.
HAWK (CONT'D)
I get paid to bring them in alive.
4 - Gracey throws a trashcan down front of HAWK to try and
trip him.
5 - Hawk smoothly leaps over the trashcan, barely breaking
stride.

"Grimm's Fairy Tales"

Here's a sample page I drew for Zenescope's "Grimm's Fairy Tales; The Three Snake Leaves," written by Dan Wickline. Below is the script for said page...

Page Thirteen

Panel One: Ben wakes up in the chair the next morning, the book is in his lap. He is startled to see the bed is empty.

BENJAMIN
Annette?

Panel Two: Ben looks into the kitchen. Annette is inside whipping down the counters. She is wearing jeans and a t-shirt and looks amazing and completely healthy.

BENJAMIN
Wow… honey… the uhm... kitchen looks amazing.

Panel Three: Annette has her hand on Ben’s chest and is pushing him back towards the living room.

ANNETTE
I feel better than I have in a very long time… and you say the kitchen looks amazing?
ANNETTE
You are a little out of practice there aren’t you Ben?

Panel Four: Ben now lying back on the couch. Annette is climbing on top of him.

BENJAMIN
I’m a little surprised is all…

BENJAMIN
Where is Alex?

ANNETTE
I sent him next door to play with Billy.

ANNETTE
I don’t know how, but I feel better than I have in years.

Panel Five: From behind Annette we see her lifting her t-shirt off while she straddles Ben.

BENJAMIN
I am happy to see you like this, but maybe we should get some blood work done or…

ANNETTE
Shut up and make love to your wife.

BENJAMIN
Yes ma’am.

Dark Knight Redux

How could I resist drawing another piece inspred by The Dark Knight film? It kicks all kinds of ass, as do Rachelle Rosenberg's colors. Pencils and inks by yours truly.

Warhammer

I recently pencilled and inked pages 1-5 of BOOM! Studios upcoming "Warhammer: Defenders of Ultramar" #1. Here's a little preview; page 3- depicting Learchus, a high-ranking member of the Ultramarines.

Legacy of Kain

I promised a digitally painted version of this piece, and here it is! In stunning technicolor by Rachelle Rosenberg. I really don't have much to say about it except that, looking at it in color, I can't believe I drew it. And I was gonna try and paint this myself...silliness

Iron Man

Rorschach Squared

another fine color Watchmen piece from Milady Awesomeness aka Rachelle Rosenberg. Yes, I am going to acknowledge her in every post featuring a work she colored, dammit! Even if she's the only colorist I'll ever work with, her name should be heard. She's from the land of awesome.

Dr. Manhattan

what can i say? Rachelle Rosenberg just continues to deliver, and every piece tops the last. I can't believe I drew this, because her colors just send the quality of my work rocketing off into the stratosphere. This is one of many prints I'll be selling at this year's upcoming Wizard World Chicago (June 26-29th), so swing on through if you'd like to get your hands on this and other works. Also, Rachelle will be available for autographs, and she'll be selling some hot ass prints of her own. You should come to the convention just to meet her and buy her work. Seriously.

Dr. Manhattan & Rorschach

DaoRoch vs. the Hydra

So I decided to add the main character from my creator-owned comic to this piece. I've been experiencing severe withdrawal from not having scribbled the ol' guy in a while, and it is just satisfying to draw him up again. mmm...DaoRoch
